LG has unveiled their latest smartphone LG-KC1 mobile phone that features WiBro connectivity. WiBro is the Korean name for Wi-Max-enabled mobile that offers a range at 1.5 kms per base station with an aggregate data throughput of 30 to 50 Mbit/s.
Powered by Marvell Monahans CPU at 800 Mhz, the KC1 features Windows Mobile version 5.0 operating system, a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen LCD, Bluetooth, SD card slot and T-DMB receiver for watching digital TV while traveling.
Furthermore, it delivers a memory of NAND Flash 512MB, SDRAM 128MB, built-in Li-Ion 1320mAh Rechargeable Battery, mono speaker and 24Pin Connector (5V, USB 1.1, UART), 10pin Connector (Audio) interface.
The latest smartphone also sports 2 megapixel camera, 28 ROM and 64MB RAM.
With PDA function, KC1 enables user to access internet function on the device with easy and at low cost. A CDMA/EvDo device also comes with an optional Wi-Fi, if in case EvDo or Wimax lacks connectivity.
The latest LG-KC1 will be available for 700,000 KRW (approx. Rs. 30,000) in Korean market.
